Summary of Changes from Previous Version

Previously the procedure required suspension for all “cases pending” (e.g. parking offences). This has now been updated so that pending “minor” cases appearing on disclosure forms are treated in the same manner as minor convictions.

The procedure has been updated to allow all appropriate areas to be applicable to “vetting subjects” rather than students or applicants. This is the term used by the NVB and will facilitate any ongoing need for repeat vetting of students on new programmes e.g. we may need to re-vet students on undergraduate programmes, three years into their studies.
