Following is a master list (in alphabetical order, by title) of all policies, procedures and guidelines contained in the Hibernia College Quality Framework. Jump to the relevant part of the alphabet by clicking an alphabetical character in the fast find index below.  Each alphabetic grouping of documents is headed with the relevant letter of the alphabet, next to which you will find a "view summary descriptions" link.  If you are not sure you have found the right policy, click this link to view the summary descriptions.  These may help you determine if the document is the one you are after.

If you don't know the name of the document you are looking for, don't waste time browsing the list.  The Hibernia College Quality Framework has a dedicated Search Engine.  Use it to search for documents related to your area of interest.  You can search by topic (management area), keywords, partial titles and even do full text searches.  You'll find a link to the search engine in the grey menu bar located just below the blue banner on this page.

  • Principles for the Acceptable Use of Generative AI in the Assessment ProcessThis policy sets out the principles for the acceptable use of Generative AI (GenAI) within the College in response to summative assessments for the purpose of grading student effort. It also sets out the context for the responsible use of GenAI by College Staff, Faculty, Adjunct Faculty and students, with particular consideration of ethical consequences, transparency and fairness in assessment design, development and response.
  • Procedure for Open Access Self-Archiving of ResearchThe purpose of this procedure is to set out process for the self-archiving and, where appropriate, other uploading of research items to Hibernia College’s open-access institutional repository, IASC. 
  • Programme Board Terms of ReferenceA Programme Board is established for every academic programme to monitor and review the provision of the programme, ensuring academic and professional standards are maintained and that learners receive fair and effective opportunities to learn in a stimulating and supportive learning environment.
  • Public Information, Promotion and the Recruitment of Students PolicyThis policy sets out the principles for the ethical and effective public communication about and promotion of Hibernia College and its programmes, as well as for the recruitment of students to Hibernia College programmes.
